It’s the holiday season, y’all! And whether you’re shopping for friends, family, host/hostess gifts for a party, birthdays, a gift exchange, or maybe just to treat yo’self, I’m guessing you’ve got a list of people you’re hoping to show that you care.
And who here doesn’t love all things bookish? If you’ve got a bookworm in your life, they probably love anything that has to do with their favorite books, series, and fandoms. I know I do.
To ease some of the shopping stresses you might be experiencing, I’ve compiled a list of five of my *favorite bookish shops. Plus, there are still a few days left to get your orders in before the holidays arrive.
Five Fantastic #Bookish Shops
Create + Explore + Read
Emilie is an author, photographer, and graphic designer extraordinaire who has a few different shops chock FULL of delightfully bookish items. Check out her Etsy shop for bookmarks, stickers, buttons, and even accessory boxes for the bookstagrammer in your life who wants to take amazing photos. Her Society 6 store has mugs, shirts, phone cases, art prints, and anything you could want for your #booknerd friends.
Book Lovers’ Soy Candles and Wax Tarts Handpoured in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
Frostbeard Studio has candles and wax tarts in amazing scents that represent books and fandoms ranging from classics like The Great Gatsby and Jane Austen to more modern fare like Harry Potter and Doctor Who. Plus, they have scents like “Old Books” and “Reading at the Cafe.” What’s not to love? Check out their Etsy shop.
Riddle’s Tea Shoppe
Two words: Fandom Teas. Riddle’s Tea Shoppe sells delicious tea blends inspired by books and other awesome nerdy things. Her Etsy shop is closed until December 27, but you can order any of her fandom teas straight from her shop on Adagio Teas. She’s got flavors inspired by Tolkien, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, and more.
Ridiculously adorable magnetic bookmarks and stickers. Melisa works with a few different artists to bring favorite characters to life and turn great bookish quotes into art. I seriously cannot get over how cute her designs are–and when I received my order in the mail, they were as great as I hoped they would be. You can find all of her products on Etsy.
Genuine Design Co.
Kelly at Genuine Design Co in Tennessee has a fantastic collection of art prints, tote bags, and greeting cards that range from inspirational quotes to TV shows to books (of course!). Her designs are fresh, fun, and clever. Check out her Etsy shop.
Well, there you have it: five bookish shops with a variety of gift ideas for anyone you know who loves stories (including yourself). Have you found any other bookish shops you love? What kind of book-themed item would you want to receive as a gift?
Also, don’t forget about our Christmas Story Contest that’s going on until December 23rd!
Dana, signing off to finish checking off my shopping list.
*Note: I didn’t get anything for talking about these shops–I just love them and want to share their goodness!
